These include programs selected from through EXIM Bank, Maritime Administration, or private financing institutions which are available to qualified buyers who build in the United States for up to 87½% of the vessel cost with payback periods of up to 25 years.

    VT Halter Marine is the largest builder of aluminum vessels in the US. At peak, we have fabricated 1000 tons of aluminum annually. We have over 40 years of aluminum design and construction experience building over 600 vessels and have been in continuous production for several years of high speed military vessels operating at over 50 knots.

    In addition to our large aluminum experience and capability, we installed the first waterjet in a large vessel over 20 years ago, and install more large waterjets then any builder in the US. VT Halter Marine has extensive experience with large high performance waterjet propulsion systems and high-speed lightweight aluminum hulls.
