Craft Positions:

All Shipyard Craft Positions currently have openings at all three facilities.

Buyer Requires advanced level procurement functions including sourcing suppliers and ensuring adherence of purchased materials and products to company and regulatory standards.  Obtains quotations, negotiates price and terms, places orders and enters purchasing information in automated data handling system.  Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both orally and in writing.  Requires completion of two years of college course work with major emphasis in accounting, business administration or marketing with considerable professional level purchasing experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities.  Marine industry experience a plus.
ILS Manager Completion of two or more years of college level course work or equivalent experience with major emphasis on Manufacturing and/or Operations of Marine Vessels or Military training and/or experience in supply depot management/operations or Military/Commercial experience in development of Outfitting/Special Tools/Spare Parts Provisioning Lists or Operations Guides and instructions.  Prior experience in the Development of Provisioning Requirements and/or Commercial off the Shelf and/or Systems Manuals for Maritime vessels is highly desirable. Knowledgeable in all phases of procuring activities for Marine products, industry regulations and company standards.  Must be familiar with ship outfitting procedures, inventory turnover and ship load out.  Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.  Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, customers, and subcontractors.  Knowledge of provisioning standards.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Naval Architect Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture with five to seven years of structural experience, preferably on commercial vessels.  Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a team environment.  Knowledge of regulatory body regulations a must.  AutoCad experience required.

Planner/Scheduler

Minimum of five years experience as a Marine Planner or Marine Production background in hull, electrical or Pipe/Mechanical.  Proficient in blueprint reading, Microsoft Office Products and scheduling software preferably Microsoft Projects.  Technical training in Production Management preferred.
